  Long Putts - Alignment

On long putts pick a spot along your intended line and align the putter face to it.  Pick a spot about a foot in front of your ball, directly on the target line and align the putter face to it.  Since the spot is closer, it's easier to check for a square face.  Then, go ahead and roll the ball over the spot.  You will find yourself more consistently rolling the ball on the correct line.
